Didn't realize they had made other planes similar to the B-36.
Did a Google Fu for a B-36 most definitely different from the C-99

Here is one for you guys. It's made by Locheed and I know the pilot of one who was a WWII POW that got shot down in one. She's not a lockheed. I'll give a clue by saying its a Douglas.

How about this one? (I'm off work with a broken toe. Can you tell I have nothing better to do?) Seversky P-35. Ancestor of the venerable P-47.

Here's a rather obscure one. My base was the only USAF base to ever use these and I've spent at least 100 hours in them...miserably. Slow and no oxygen, so they were cold, slow and low altitude. No cheating with the url.

Snagged that off of Yahoo, but that is Hohenzollern castle in the background, which I do have several shots of with RF-4C's from my personal collection.

They fly them out of Ft Rich here in Alaska. Army I presume. We gave them our hand me downs. 10th MAS at Zweibrucken was the only Active USAF squadron to to ever fly them.

Weren't they a Polish made aircraft and wasn't the manufacturer called Short? A number of local cargo haulers used them as well as commuter airlines. When I was taking flying lessons I saw them critters all the time.

Okay, no cheating. What is this Frankenstein's monster of an airplane? P75 Eagle. Yep. The P-75 airframe used the outer wing panels of the Curtiss P-40, the tail unit of the Douglas A-24/Dauntless, and landing gear of the Vought F4U Corsair. The engine was located in the fuselage behind the pilot, similar to the layout of the Bell P-39.
