This gun is pristine with nice wood. I bought this gun thinking that I would shoot it but have since decided that I won't. The gun is in the original box with lock and paperwork. I was told that it is unfired and by the looks of it I would agree. PM or email for photos at dkhnt@aol.com . $695 + shipping to your FFL.

This is a classic in every sense. I have one, and no one would every think it was unshot, but they are great stalking rifles, just a real nice arm to have with you for a day in the woods, prairies, or plains. And man O man the 220 Swift really reaches out there, Plus you can sight it in close to dead on at 100 and still not need to give it any Kentucky windage until well past 300. No two and a half inches high at 100 with this gun.

NICE!!
Maybe it's just the lighting in the pics, but has it been recrowned (or target crowned)?

The gun is all original with the factory crown. The flash makes it appear freshly cut but it has the factory blue on it.

headhunter204 had an unexpected expense come up and had to back out of the purchase of this gun so it's back up for sale.

The Swift is indeed a great round, a true classic, best of breed, but not magic. I love mine, an old flat bolt that shoots terrific (nearly all of these 77Vs in .220 Swift are good shooters). Free bump on a good deal.

Bump for a great caliber/action combo - can you get the pics back up?

Not right now but may consider it later. I believe that this gun's value is a little higher than the .338 Win. Mag. Shoot me a PM to discuss further.

Fantastic rifle, or at least the one I owned was. I let a buddy of mine talk me out of it years ago and always regretted letting it go. Just in case the lucky buyer of this rifle is interested I have some brass still laying around looking for a rifle just like this one. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbth...S_New_220_Swift_Winchester_B#Post6235416
