Hey, it's not as good as your gun, yet. However I was impressed with the initial run. Sides, I'm not sure my eyes/age/bifocals will allow me to shoot as good as you! Still, I think i can kill a squill or two with it. maddog

Took the sporster out to the farm, when my son came home today. This wasn't a hardcore sight in session, but simply plinkin'. We set up some 20 ga. empty hulls on a barrel, then at about 23 yds, we put the little gun on the rest. 3 of us fired the gun, and shot a sampling of 3 different ammos. We were dingin' those empties on a pretty regular basis. What fun! My son was very favorably impressed with the little .22.

Hey maddog, just found this again and got to see the pics. Nice! Never been much of a tupperware guy but you may have converted me! Still having problems with the savage, but I have a hunch it just doesn't like HPs but not sure as all I have used are HPs. Anyway, thinking about letting this one go down the road and getting a sportster or a marlin 981t. Either way gonna scope it with see-throughs and proceed to pizz off my mom with some water bottles and a brick o' federals. Wish me luck. Oh and props on the groups.

A pointer, on the single shots I take a piece of closed cell foam, wedge it between the base and scope, heat a nail and pierce holes cross ways in the foam to carry extra ammo right where you need it. I think I put like 20 holes in the last one.

Terry8mm, this is what I added to the sportster. Took a butt cuff to a friend that runs a leather/shoe store. Gave him the cuff and two .22LR shells. He stitched it for a whopping $8! Coupla pics. When fully loaded, it will hold 32 rounds. maddog
