Is how my conversation started off with a liberal co-worker tonight. His reasoning, the economy is starting to get better and nobody will remember anything else come election time other than that.
I cannot find that much flaw in his logic, given the short memories voters have.
What say the fire, if we are in fact coming out of this recession (I am not convinced of this) and things are looking good in November as far as the economy goes. Does Obama get his second term regardless of his dismal record as POTUS and regardless of the fact that the economy is recovering in spite of him and not because of him?

According to a number of sources, the European Union will implode, economically, this Summer. Right now Germany is the only member that is doing well and is loaning money to most other member nation banks to keep this from happening. By Summer this will become unsustainable, even for them.
When the European Union implodes, the Worldwide economic tidal wave will be a catastrophe. I just cleared all my emails or I would have the link to this info but it should be available in a search. If this indeed happens, no national leader will be re-elected, anywhere.

Gas is already expected to hit $4/gallon this summer. If Israel strikes a match like it is expected to, gas prices will go thru the roof.
Gas prices will strangle the economy again and people will be upset.

Gas prices will strangle the economy again and people will be upset. Some dipsh*t on AM talk radio was giving this excuse and that excuse for a .50-.75 price hike (at minimum) this summer. Making excuses for the refineries that have to switch gas grades over and all this other B.S. Long story longer, sure isn't going to help the election but most of the idiots will think the economy is improving and vote for the monkey again.

The GOP has once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Romney will without a doubt be the nominee and Obama will beat him like a drum. They (the GOP) will not accept the fact that today to win an election against the press AND the democratic party they have to nominate an absolute merciless first class son of a bitch and he has to run a campaign that takes NO prisoners. If they were willing to do that they MIGHT just win but you tell me what the chances of their doing that are. In Obamas next term he will appoint more supreme Court justices and then the courts will start to dismantle the constitution piece by piece and the fair citizens being law abiding people will permit it to happen.When he gets his socialist government firmly established he will then tacitly become president for life. And don't tell me it can't happen. Look at Russia. The USSR ceased to exist in less than a month without a single shot being fired and a single person being killed. It can also happen here.

Judging from the Fire comments, I happen to think most feel it is a Badge of Honor to work, as some even have two maybe three jobs and even put their women to work as well. Then there are also more that send their kids to Obama for his army to fight for oil and allah. They are proud to pay the taxes levied on them and do so willingly. They like it all. It is not a burden to them but a light load. They were born to serve and like the tv commercials that keep telling them that.
