I can't recall ever seeing a real Hawken in brass. Another problem is the twist. Everybody thinks a slow RB twist is what Hawkens had, but it's not true. They used a 1-48 twist. Even back in the Hawken era they realized the RB could be improved on, and conicals were becoming popular. Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a hunting license and that's pretty close.
