My buddy is trying to find a 99 in a 358. He has a 358 in a BLR, but grew up with the 99's. I wouldn't mind a 358, but it would have to be in a turn bolt. Both Ruger and Sako/Tikka chambered the 358 a couple of years back.
Cool gifts Pam & Dave.

WOW! Stainless long barrel Judge. What a woman! Grouse gun.
Stan in SC grouse gun indeed! I was plesantly surprised at the weight, it can't weigh more than the heavy barreled MKII I have often times carried for grouse when I'm out goofing around in the woods. This is a very cool gun.
Something clever here.

Well I missed a couple of days as I had to go to a 2 day meeting from hell in the cities. Man, was it dysfunctional. Anyway, a day late Super Congrats to the Shaws! Very impressive accomplishment.
I just read Ryan's article. Very nice. I am going to scan it but for some reason my pictures here are so very small.....can I email it to someone (Dave?) and you can post it so it can actually be read?

Cool gifts Pam & Dave. Bill, I know where there is a Ruger Hawkeye, in stainless in .358 Win. It's dang nice and a decent price. Let me know. You could always come up this way and we could do a gunshop tour.

If you right click on a .jpg image here, you may be able to select "Oen image in New Tab" where it will be full sized. Or one can just copy the url from the image to a new browser window and the enlarge as needed. The resolution will be there if it is in the original file that was up loaded. Nice gun Dave. Grouse are going to dislike it immensely I think. Brent

Dave, if you send it to me, I'll host it. But it won't post as an image. Just a hot link that one can click on and it will open or download as needed.

I was trying to entice you over here so you could deliver it Bill. You could use the money I give you and probably another 2 bill...you may be able to buy that gun. It's been in the shop for almost a year. It is cut and crowned to 18-20". I'm not sure exactly, but it's shorter than the factory barrel. I do grab it everytime I'm in there. It is a handy little rig. I have too much going on right now or you'd have to buy it from me.

Thanks Dave for posting that up! It really gives a good description of what Ryan does and what Pheasants Forever is all about.
Shamelessly taking advantage of this, if anyone wants to become a member ($30 during our banquet season), contact me and I can help them get it done. Our banquet is coming up fast (Feb 18th in Alexandria, MN). Keep up the good work, Ryan, that has be be very rewarding.

Very cool Ryan. It looks like sweating out the job search really paid off.
Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. ND, but I don't think Dave needs the .410 for grouse - he'll just sneak up and whack 'em with the long barrel. Something more than a .22 is probably good for flyin' bears, swamp squids and such, though.
