It ain't much, but a lot of ammo has come off this bench:

The brown bag to the left of the bench is walnut shell, purchased in bulk for a black walnut processor for about $30. Should last me a while...

Rich, You are amazing beyond words!
Nobody, ANYWHERE will compare.... EVER.
I had the extreme honor to visit your place with a mutual friend a number of years ago, I was blown away with it then, your new place is simply beyond description.
The quality of your trophies are simply staggering.

Thank You!

Holy Crap! Guys, you had better click on this link and sit back in your chairs for a while to watch.

Some of those mounts are absolutely world class. In particular, the cats are amazingly-well done (and supposedly cats are the most difficult for even a great taxidermist to get right).

John;
I hope this finds you doing acceptably well at the start of this February weekend.

If I may, I'll just quickly 2nd your thoughts on the folks here clicking onto the link that gbp has provided. Honestly I've seen many museums that were not as impressive. Well done sir! cool

If I had to pick one - and I'm happy I don't by the way - but a couple of the sheep mounts are really, really something, though the African mounts are equally jaw dropping.

Thanks to all who've shared your caves with us, I for one have thoroughly enjoyed the "virtual tours".

I hope the rest of your weekend is a good one John. I've got to work today, but tomorrow, as I've done for more than two decades now I'll skip Sunday services and be area captain for the annual California Bighorn Sheep count that our gun club has put on for 60+ years.

Thanks again all.

Dwayne

That is a special place. I'm thinking a morning stroll through there with a cup of coffee thinking back to hunts would be a great way to start the day.

Sounds like a fun day you have coming up counting sheep, Dwayne!

I totally agree -- few museums could match that for really high quality taxidermy! Just amazing.

WOW! That guy has spent more money on hunts and taxidermy than I'll make in my whole life! WOW again!

Kudos for all the hard work it must have taken to be so successful, really.

I've got a lot of admiration for someone that dedicated to this sport we are all obsessed with but in all honesty, that trophy room is a little too much. How does a guy even walk around in it without bumping into mounts, let alone get a good look at everything?

Heck, some of those rooms look like Cabelas! I think any room where fair chase taken animals are displayed and you can look and remember is awsome! Some more so than others is all.
