which is better? i've got some rifles duracoated that now show some wear in places. is cerakote any better?

Cerakote is tougher. It will still show wear on sharp edges over time, bit it is tough stuff.

Cerakote blows duracoat away, period.

kind of what i figured. i've used duracoat and like the results, but have noticed wear in places like the bolt, end of barrel, etc. thanks

Cerakote will wear too, in places of metal to metal contact, but nothing like duracoat.

Cerakote is more wear resistant, however it does not have the slick properties of Duracoat. IMO Duracoat is better for stocks and works better on metal contact surfaces like bolts and pistol slides.
