Ryan
I looked over the Hill Ranch property last fall. It sure is a nice area. Now I know just where you are working. Nice write up.

Happy Aniversary Cussin's!! Gifts? Pam scored a couple of new lenses, the little guy shown on the camera here and the white lens on the left are both new. The little lens is a fixed 50mm F/1.4 with elect focus, the white one is a 70-300mm F/4-5.6 with elect focus and 2 different image stabilization settings. We went for dinner, came home, and she surprised me with.... Taurus 45 long colt/.410 shotgun. We definately surprised eachother. I guess we were both thinking something special was in order to mark 20 years. Weezy snapped this picture a few minutes ago. There we are, starting on another 20. Thanks for all the nice words, well wishes and such. Wow nice lenses! Nice gun too. Pam let me in on the secret when I was there last Friday night. Congrats again you guys!

A group of us from our snowmobile club are headed up to Fortune Bay Casino for the weekend. Not bringing our sleds though, snow conditions are not great this year. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hope you do better than I did last week at the casino Muffy.
We actually had snow this AM. Best guess is around an inch. Problem is the wind. It's blowing hard right out of the North. We're supposed to get down to around minus 10 tonight.

Cold here too. We um, had a little trouble with the Taurus Judge.... So, Pam returned it, and exchanged it for..... (excuse me because I'm still shaking a little...) She upgraded it to this: Springfield PX9109LP Caliber: .45ACP Magazines: 2 - 7 Round, Blued Steel Barrel: 5" Stainless Steel Sights: Fixed Low Profile Combat Rear, Dovetail Front, tritium 3 - Dot Trigger:Long Aluminum Match Grade, 5 - 6 lbs. Grips: Cocobolo Hardwood Frame: Forged Steel, Parkerized Slide:Forged Steel, Parkerized Recoil System: 2 Piece Full Length Guide Rod Height: 5.5" Length: 8.5" Weight w/ Empty Magazine: 40 ozs. I have a car show meeting to go to but I don't want to go, I just want to sit here and hold this gun.... I am freeking STOKED!!! I have wanted a 1911 for many, many years, but I would have never bought one for myself. And if I ever did, I wouldn't have bought one this nice... Holy crap.
Something clever here.

Dave,
That is beyond cool!! What I think is really neat about the whole thing is she went to no small effort to get you something she knows you really wanted. Shows alot about her and her thoughtfulness.
Congrats to the two of you and 20 years!!
Oh yeah....you also did well with the glass for her....shows the same thought patterns as your wife.

The happy energy hasn't worn off yet... wait til you wake up in the middle of the night to take a leak and have to go pick it up and fondle it for a few minutes before sneaking back to bed.... its ok, we've all been there

I snagged a box of PMC 230gr FMJ, and I poked it out the back door and shot a bucket that was laying at the edge of the woods. Otherwise I wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight.

WOW!! I had a very high opinion of Pam to begin with, but this put the pin out of the meter. I suggest that you take the time to teach Pam how to use that bullet launcher Dave
