Well I've been waiting....on the rain.
For long hot days...
They all seem the same.

(Is there a drought here?)

Savage fanatics, the auctions seem to have fallen...
The good ones are to find...
So it's the hardcore's that I'm calling.

I'm looking for a 1931 date of manufacture...
Perfect world = .250-3000 or .22 Hi Power...
Takedown would top it off...
But...whatever...the 1931 is what is important.
All original, and at least a shooter...good to excellent bore...
No D&T...Recoil Pad...etc...

Talk to me if you have my rifle in your gun safe...

Robert...

Three Creeks,

The serial numbers listed by Lightfoot are from Murray's book and are not exact. They are the best we have to work with without getting a letter from the Historian. Production during 1931-1935 was very low. 1931 production was around 4000 with most in the .30 caliber class. The .22 HP was pretty dead by that time. Most of the production would have been in 99-H, F & G's. But, you never know what might turn up...good luck with your hunt.

SER# 33304x This is as close as I can come in .30-30. According to Murray 1929. What is so special about 31...
