Thanks. That picture kinda stinks but it will work. The color is pretty cool, I've never seen it on a Ranger before.
This one is nearly half the weight of the 619 that I just sold. The old one was 6000#, this one is 3200#. Big difference there. This one is also a single axle trailer so it will be much easier to move around. It is lighter than some of the alumanium boats I looked at.
The coolest part of this shop was what the dude had under the car cover. An absolutely beautiful 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340.It was as well taken care of as this boat appears to be.

A very nice looking boat,Tom.Usually when I see kickers they are no larger than 9HP.Is 15HP "bring back insurance" for larger lakes?

I got a left handed mini mauser action for Kendra's birthday today, I'm going to do a rifle build for her in 6x45 probably for deer/antelope. her savage is a little heavy she said after toting it around this fall. I figured it would be just the ticket, she is excited, so that's good  I love the action photos, very cool! Ryan, have you give a 6.5 Creedmore any thought? Be great little deer/antelope cartridge. I haven't thought about it, didn't really know much about it til I just looked it up. it looks to be a pretty awesome little round, the only problem is I'm not sure the action is long enough for it. the bolt face is .223 and so is the magazine. I thought of converting to a 6.5 grendel or 6.8 spc, but all the extra gunsmithing would be spendy. she and I talked about it last night and might just go with the .223. its legal for deer/antelope and IF she ever did decide to sell it, we could fairly easily. I need to find a good gunsmith though now

Stan, I see a lot of 15HP kickers on the Columbia River out in OR. Usually the boats that have them are 22' or larger.

As long as you're on the water that is what counts. If I had a place on a lake, I'd have a pontoon, no question. There isn't a better boat for farting around on a lake, especially if you have more than a few people out with you.

StaninSC I'm not sure why he has such a big kicker on here. It's not needed thats for sure. It is for trolling for long periods of time, Stan. I don't use them a lot usually. This one has a "troll master" on it, so I can troll down pretty slow for pulling Lindy rigs. I've used the troll master before but never had one on a boat I've owned. I've never had a full windshield before either so we'll see how that goes.

Troll master, eh? Sounds like something that you found here on the campfire Windshield suck until you have a long run in a hard, cold crosswind. Then they are lifesavers. Have fun. I need another boat...

The .300AAC is based in the .223 casing.Basically it is a .223 necked out to .30 caliber.Vicious little round.

the 257 kimber is a 204 necked up to a .25 cal better than the 6x45 in many regards, plus I can get a shilen barrel from brownells reasonable in the contour we want (lightest possible) I'm hopin the whole rifle weighs in less than 5 lbs. and with the low recoil, I doubt there will be any excuse left for her when she misses

now to decide on .223, 6x45 or 257 kimber I don't pretend to know anything about these modern chamberings except that one of them, the .223 would not be legal as a big game cartridge in a few states. So, for greater flexibility, all else being equal, you might choose something that is .23 caliber or better. Just a thought in case you wanted to go to WY for antelope with it.
