Happy 8th Birthday to PWM!!!! Life just wouldn't be the same without you. You give me a chuckle at the end of a long day, a hug when I need it and love that is unconditional. Your cupcakes are made for school and your birthday cake is ready for your party tonight. My bride has been complaining that her foot hurt for the past 2 weeks. She finally went in and got it checked yesterday. Seems that Ms Judy has a broken toe. She has to wear a special shoe for 2 weeks.

Bill, hope your wife gets better soon. I guess she figured out why her toe was hurting, a broken toe would smart I would think It finally hurt bad enough for her to go in and get it checked. At least the XRay showed she didn't break her ankle back in early December. Long story, but she refused to go in and get that checked out too. She was sure it was just a bad sprain. But her foot was swolloen and black and blue. Damn that women is stuburn.

She's not letting a little thing like a broken toe slow her down. She's swims twice a wwek and excercises 1 day a week at the 'Y'.
We just had a quick snow storm come throuh. Dropped about a 1/2" of snow. Yep, Ms Judy took off her magic shoe and went out and started shoveling.
For the record, I was out shoveling too.

As long as you're on the water that is what counts. If I had a place on a lake, I'd have a pontoon, no question. There isn't a better boat for farting around on a lake, especially if you have more than a few people out with you. Yeah, you might have a "kicker" and a dedicated electric trolling motor, but I have a grill on my boat.

I'm setting up a lead bullet casting bench in the garage tonight, its pretty cluttered and I see project after project I've neglected along the way. I have the weekend to myself so hopefully I can get a bunch of stuff done, and maybe get out and do some fishing since my shappell portable house came in the mail today

we have ice in the black hills on the reservoirs, we just get it later in the winter and its gone sooner because it doesn't get really thick

Glad to hear you had a great Bday PWM.
We went to a Lions Club Ice Fishing Derby yesterday. It was a blast. We caught 5 northern. The biggest one was in the money for a while but got bumped out. They were all snakes. A 9-10 year old girl won the whole she-bang which I'm glad to see. She caught a 4# 5oz pike. Second place was a 3 1/2# LM Bass.
