I have a Rem. 280 from custom shop. Kevlar stock has some nicks. Looking to replace it with camo synthetic. I see various models. My gun has no drop out clip or floor plate. Can I use a 700 ADL stock? Found one I like but it says:
"... brand new factory Remington 700 ADL Synthetic R/H Long Action MAG Rifle Stock with a cheek rest. Done in the Fall Camo Pattern."
The "Mag" concerns me. Any suggestions?

Personally i would just repair and paint the Stock that came on the rifle and save my money. The Kevlar Stock Remington uses is a good stock. As far as the Mag Barrel Profile it will work fine, it will just give you a little more free float on the barrel channel
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.
