Does baboon taste like chicken, or chickenshittt ? I'm guessing the later. I have no problem shooting them, but would have a BIG problem eating them. Mike

My first trip is planned for August, only 171 days, 1 hour, 28 minutes, and.....30 seconds until the plane takes off - no, I am not eager at all!
The top of my list is Kudu Gemsbok Warthog (multiple if possible) Impala Blue Wildebeest
And if time/money permits, add a Zebra and another Impala.

I've been 9 times, but still have some wants and desires. You can NEVER hunt enough Cape Buffalo to be satisfied, so that will always be on the list, as well as management bull Elephant. I don't have a desire for the cats, but need a great old Eland, Dik-Dik, Val Rheabok, Klippspringer, Bushpig, and maybe a few other small trophies. It is addicting, for sure.

After two PG hunts, I'd like to hunt the following in the future.
Cape Buffalo & maybe a PAC Elephant, as far as DG goes.
For PG:
Bushbuck Another Kudu Another Waterbuck Mountain Zebra Another Warthog Another Eland(My favorite animal that I've hunted thus far. Following a track) Another Gemsbok
If money were no object:
Lord Derby Eland & Bongo.

Pieter, if my memory is correct you were working as a PH for me when we caught two poachers.
SAP could not come get them as they had no fuel to get to us. So we tied and held them at gun point until another SAP dept, dispatched a vehicle to come get them.
Once they were stuffed into the back of the car, the lead SAP officer said to us, quite boldly. " why do you waste my time like this? I know you have a backhoe on this farm.
So in the light shined by our own police Dept, I think you could get a very low trophy fee for a poacher, it could be thought of as simply culling an over populated unmanaged species. Just don't ruin the euro mount.
www.huntingadventures.netAre you living your life, or just paying bills until you die? When you hit the pearly gates I want to be there just to see the massive pile of dead 5hit at your feet. ( John Peyton)

Ingwe, We will definately have lots of pics. My 18 year old son will be our main photographer since he does not hunt. This will be his moms first hunt and he will capture it all I'm sure. We are so excited as we should be. 106 days from tomorrow morning the travel portion of our adventure begins. Best regards, Les

Yes Jim, I remember. I wonder why they got away?
Trophy fee on a poacher is $50.
If you miss!
