They've all ready about made truck driving a daytime job. Heck by 1600 or 1700, most of the truckstops are full. The rest areas are full. By 2000 or 2100, all you've got left are on-ramps & off-ramps left.

Ever heard of Jason's Law? http://www.jhlrivenburg.com/ I haven't been able to find anything on the internet dated for 2012 - no NEW news - but it's still alive in trucking circles. I'd never heard of it until I started trying to promote my blog.

1) Must include two periods between 1 a.m.- 5 a.m. home terminal time
And I thought dealing with one period a month was bad. (not my own, fortunately).

LOL! Thank goodness I don't have to deal with them all anymore - one of the blessing of growing older Hopefully I won't have to deal with them on the road again either.

What all of the new reg's actually mean is big government likes railroad better than trucking and they are slowly choking the truck business into history. kwg

I've been into it for years with the outfit I haul for, my Men work 10 hrs a day period, then they park here at the farm and go home.
No weekend work either, a Man needs a Day with his family and another for Church if he wishes.
I've caught alot of hell over it from the company, but that will continue to be tough chit, I aint changin'!
