Stan in SC Stan the 37's are so light that 2 3/4" heavy or mag loads are nasty in one.

We didn't get a single flake out of that terrible storm. Crandon, WI in the NE had 23", Minoqua and Rhinlander got 18".

Also SD has lots of pheasants, prairie dogs and no state income tax! What is keeping us in MN?

South Carolina is "shall issue".North Carolina is an open carry and concealed permit state.

Yeah, it's great when they get it right. But they sure get it wrong way too often in many states.

we have a new bill that went to the governor, its waiting to be signed. it says that anyone who has a drivers license and fulfills the requirements to carry a concealed weapon can in south dakota, no more permit or license required. not sure if it only applies to residents or not, but what a huge step in the right direction huh?
and yes Dave, we have two species of deer and lots of fish here. also elk, sheep, speed goats, lions and many kinds of upland game birds such as hungarian partridge, sage grouse, sharptail grouse and pheasant. not to mention many reservoirs that contain everything from crappies to lake trout all within an hour from where I live... but don't tell anyone else, don't want it fillin up like colorado

Ryan,
What's the public land situation like out there? Some buddies and I are thinking on a Black Hills archery deer hunt in a year or two.
