You guys have deers and fish there in SD right?
I think I want to move there some day. Dave, if you do are you going to close down this thread and start another? Birth of a deer camp II or would you title it Birth of a deer camp - Western division?

I would ask for 2 discounts-
1) the "no sauna" discount and 2) the "no deer" discount
but he may leave some old trailer parts behind for you

"The blessing of the fleet".Chickenbuck style.Services performed by the Reverend Joe.Please notice the time honored "raising of the finger" which is a HECKARWE indian ritual which keeps away the dreaded swamp squid(also works on deer evidently). Please feel free to contribute to our "float the family" fund.

Also SD has lots of pheasants, prairie dogs and no state income tax! What is keeping us in MN? Jobs. 4.3% unemployment rate and the oil boom slowly moving south from north dakota. we got jobs too

Dave, are you familiar with the HECKARWE indian tribe? Well,I'll tell you anyways. They are a very nomadic tribe who live in the great North woods. They are so nomadic that they do not even sleep in the same place every night but continually move about.Being nomads you would think that they innately have a good sense of direction.Alas such is not the case. They are continually lost and you can tell when the are nearby as you can hear their plaintive yells."Where the heck are we?"And from this call they get their name....HECKARWE. The HECKARWE indians were featured in the old TV series "F Troop". They are not to be confused with their southern cousins who live in the woods and swamps of the deep south, the FUGARWE. And THAT is your lesson in Indian lore for today. Ole Ranger Stan signing off, buckaroos.Watch yore topknots.

Ahhh Dave, aint you a Jeremiah Johnson fan? That is not the correct response to someone who says "Watch your topknot". The correct response is "Watch your'n."
