I have used a couple of cameras. The one I have which prompted me to buy another just like it is the Bushnell offering. The best features foe me is the ease of use, functions, and the price.
I had a Cuddeback that cost twice as much and the bears destroyed it. It was hard to use and overall I was not impressed. The bushnell system has been cranking out pictures for three years. Actually with the storage space I always set it on video.
Anyway, good luck to you. The cameras offer a lot of enjoyment!

A sample from my stealth cam IR Haven't checked the price lately, this camera was $120 at cabelas when I bought it a few years ago. It uses a SD card so I use my camera for a viewer.

I'am from Carbon County. Here is another pic from same trail camera. This stealth cam takes some nice pictures. These bears hung out in the Lehigh Gorge.

Bushnell 5.0 Megapixel Trophy Cam I have two of these cameras and both work well. Good battery life, both have lasted 6months on 8AAs have taken 10000+ pictures. The straps arent good broke both clips on first attempt putting them up. No water issues. Experimenting with them is key until you get the amount and type of picture you want. The quality is very good on daytime pics and okay at night.
M2, M3, Rolleiflex 3.5 B, Yashica Mat 124G, Nikon D90, Nikon F100, Nikon FM, Pentax K1000, digital hd video camera..... Advice and constructive criticism always welcome..

Spypoint: and take a look at "chasinggame.com" for detailed camera reviews of almost every camera for sale by year. I've had good luck with their information matching my experience, and they don't sell any cameras, so I think they are pretty fair on their reviews. I have settled on the Spypoints for ease of use, clarity of the pictures, and the price point. Only drawback I've found is a one minute reset delay between photo sets, and they are fussy about using cheap knock-off SD memory cards. I've probably missed a few animals with the delay, but I've had photos of blue herons, squirrels, turkeys, foxes, yotes and deer on the same cameras that I left out for two months at a time. My batteries seem to last about 60-70 days at least.

I currently use cuddeback, but will be moving away from them because their delay between pics is to long, especially during the rut. I have missed a lot of bucks behind does because of a 30 sec delay. I might get the tail end of them as they go back, very aggrevating at times.

+1 Bushnell 5.0 Megapixel Trophy Cam I have a Bushnell Trophy Cam, the low end no frills or color screens option, and love it. Here are a couple links to a some pictures I got last year with the Trophy Cam. "Famous pictures" Other pictures I have nothing bad to say about the Trophy Cam. The battery is great, picture quality is great (at least for trail cameras), and it is easy to use. I also won a Stealth Cam in a Field and Stream contest last spring with my "famous photos" and I have to say I am not impressed with it. The batteries only last about a month, the quality is alright, but it just isn't like the bushnell. If I had to choose it would be the trophy cam hands down. Hope this helps! Bryce

That's a great set of pictures. Are they in the Boise National Forest? We're having similiar wolf problems in the Panhandle area as well.

Greg, Sorry this response has taken forever, it has been a busy couple weeks. But these pictures were taken in the Lolo Zone. I have some more images that I pulled this afternoon that I am going to post to the blog shortly tonight or tomorrow. Check them out! http://blog.high-mountain-outfitters.com/
