Is that my old friend? Its almost like seeing a frumpy ex-girlfriend at the prom after losing some weight, getting her hair done and on the arm of another man.....it hurts.

KDK, you didn't even have to warm up the sand paper on that one laugh Definitely a good way to get rid of 'em.

Me too ... but then I doubt you could grab them for less than $400 NIB on clearance.

I see it the other way. With basic factory synthetics, it's easier and cheaper to mold them in than it is to make a stock of reasonable weight that can properly float a barrel without a big unsightly gap.

They also have them in the wooden stocks. I'm sure if they enletted each stock to a specific barrel and action it might work but few folks are gonna pay for hand inletting in a box gun. All's I really know is they work well in my rifles.

Aim for the exit hole.

Dan360 would probably be better able to answer that question... I only have one box of CoreLokts through it, and nothing with the new stock.

I work out of town right now, so I get a fair amount of per diem. Whatever I don't eat is gun money. I don't plan on doing this forever, so I'm stocking up on rifles while I can.

i have a rem 700 sps 300wsm that i never shot with the factory stock. instead, i dropped the barreled action into a HS stock. it shot terrible, so i bedded it, shot better, but was still inconsistant. finally i bedded a "speed bump" in the HS stock and now it shoots the best it probably ever has.
