What scopes are those? Can't quite see well enough for an I.D.

Looks like a Jewell trigger with trigger guard safety. How do you like that vs. the conventional, thumb operated safety?

Those are 6-24 Burris Signatures, the 6mm has a Ballistic Mil Dot, the 308 has a fine plex. I really never use the safeties so I guess it dont matter, but I like the bottom safety.

Be interesting to see how it pans out. Hornady just never really gave top notch accuracy for me vs others. With the exception of the .224 75 amax, IF you got a correctly made lot of them.

Shot the 105AMAX last July, got a 5.398" group, figured that would be the best I shot all day so I stopped there, might do 3 groups with each rifle in June. If they shoot good at 300 they'll shoot good at 600, I hope.

if they shoot good at 300 that says they shoot good at 300. And like you said hope for 600. Learned that lesson the hard way.

also learned that if I skipped load work at 300 and went right to 600 to tune loads, don't ever assume that load will shoot knots at 300....

And yeah, MOA or a bit under was usually what I could expect from Hornady, usually not much better, save for that 75 amax....

Assuming a load using known bullets in a barrel with a known adequate twist, a load giving good accuracy with low velocity spread will give good accuracy at 600 if it shoots good at 300.

The AMAX is a known entity - it shoots good at 600. If your load is good and shoots good at 300, it will shoot at 600 too.

I've shot the Hornaday 105 HPBT out of my 6MM Competion Match Tac rifle out to 850 yards and it shot fine, 7 out of 7 4" clay birds. I have not put it on paper yet, I'll put it in my 6MM Competiton Match BR rifle and see what it will do. It shows promise.

If you are shooting a 6mm Rem, when I got one, I tested 15 different powders with mine, with bullet weights of 75 HP, 105 Match and 115 Berger match...

all except two were more than adequate for high accuracy way out there... however, bar none, H 414 was the clear winner...

the rifle has a one in 7 twist...

second place with the 105 and 115 Bergers went to H 1000...

4064 was second place with the 75 HP, followed closely by 3031...

and this was from 300 to 600 yds testing...
