I am unsure, bobcat or mountain lion??? I would like everyone's opinion. I know it has spots, but a young mountain lion can have spots until they are 2. I am looking forward to the conversation.

It looks to me like a mountain lion. Bobcats usually don't that long of a torso with respect to their legs. The ears have some dark on them, but don't look tasseled like bobcat ears. The white under the chin and along the throat also look more like a lion. Lastly, the back line and rump look more like a lion with his tail down than a bobcat with his tail down.

I sure feel like it is a Mt. Lion, but I have never seen one so I wasn't sure. We aren't suppose to have them where we live, although sightings are becoming fairly frequent

The head looks much more like a lion than a bobcat. Too bad we can't see the tail.

Until I saw the spots I would have definitely said MT. Lion, but not so sure now.

In Northern Missouri. If you blow up the pic you can see some spots, but a young mt lion can have spots until they are 2. It is interesting, and as of right now not another pic.

I'll be damned, I retract my original "that aint no bobcat"

That sure as hell does look like a bobcat now.
