The house was moved in many miles closer to shore, I helped the boys get the house set up off the main lake road so they had a nice straighy shot back onto the road. They spent the night out there last night. Me, Pam and little PWM made the 75 mile drive home in the old snow bully. We met Weezy at home and we all went out for a burger. RWS sent me this phone picture this morning of a 25 incher he got this morning. Nice !

oh I love that' your coming with me. and a very nice walleye. Northerndave I noticed Your hat and I was at my buddys house the other day and he was showing me his scrap book from nam and he had the riflemans creed in it and I thought I would post It brought a tear to my eye. thanks to all are vets This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than the enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. My rifle and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, or the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit. My rifle is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. Before God I swear this creed. My rifle and I are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy.

I wonder how many animals have fallen to someone wearing chickenbuck apparel.
I know I have taken 4 deer and 2 antelope, a few prairie dogs and a coyote while wearing my chickenbuck hat.

So it stands to reason that "preacher's" blessing of the fleet wards off Swamp squids but NOT deer.Oh,good.I was worried about that. Great picture.Looks like this year's deer. The new PAM CAM(oooooh.I invented a new one there. The PAM CAM.)works great. All future pictures will have to be properly credited if by PAM CAM or other.

We walked the trails by the cabin and noticed in some of the fresh deer tracks that we would find a long deer hair here and there laying on top of the snow.
I'm thinking they are already shedding that shaggy winter coat.

Shedding their coats? Heck my half crazy BIL claims he saw a doe and two spotted fawns last week. I told him, this conversation was useless without pics...........

Well we got our fish house off the lake today, the ice is going to go bad really fast with this weather. Glad to have ours off the lake and at home.

There was about a dozen crappie fisherman on a local lake I saw the last few days....they must really LOOOOVE 9" crappies to be out there with the ice conditions we have around here. I wouldn't venture out on it around here. Up nort maybe, but not here.
There's not a dang fish worth me falling in the drink.
