Sam and I have a very good friend, Jeanne Meldrum, who had her house burnt to the ground yesterday morning. She has nothing left and is as broke as most people are nowadays. Her roommate was in the house, when apparently the stack caught fire as he said he was cooking, looked up and saw fire. He has 3rd degree burns on his back and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. They have no insurance, either for the house or medical. She also lost two cats that were near and dear to her in the fire. Jeanne is the NICEST person that I know, bar NONE. She wouldn't ever think of doing anything bad to anyone or anything on this planet - and for this to happen to her is just devastating. WE CAN HELP!! New items are added daily! FB has been glitching a LOT lately... please feel free to send me a friend request: Bonnie Brummett Safariman, I can't have bidding going on with 2 sites, there would be too much conflict of me keeping up and posting bids from one to another to make sure everyone knew. I live off-grid and run on a genny, so I'm only on limited time. I could maybe post the pics here and if there's something you really want to bid on you'd have to make a FB account and friend me. OK, good luck to you AND to your freind. So sorry to hear of the great losses. I know from having been in the business that it is sometimes hard or even impossible to get homeowners or fire insurance on exceedingly rural properties.

Please post a direct mailing address. It looks like they will need everything including clothing, bedding, and household stuff. Boxing and mailing would be easiest for me as I do not do facebook.
