I�ve been directed over here from Leverguns.com by a few members hopefully to get some answers about a rifle I bought. Some history, rarity, what it is worth.
I�m more of a lever action fan and not really a collector so selling it is my goal.
I don�t want to abuse the forum or go against forum etiquette by just using it to get information or to sell the rifle.
So I�m asking permission to post for information about the rifle and if there is interest possibly sell it.

the guys can get testy if all you do is use the site fo selling.....no rules against it, some just view it as bad form....is a good site and chances are you will find someone on here familiar with just about any firearm you could round up.....post away just remember to have some thick skin, it can get rough at times but overall you would be hard pressed to find a nicer, more generous bunch of ppl....

You will be more likely to find a buyer if it is a controlled round feed bolt action with a Burris Posi Lock scope and does its best shooting with Barnes bullets (At least ONE member here, known for killing of Elephants, would find it most intersting.....<G> )

Thanks for the response. I've been a member of Leverguns for 11 years and have often had the same opinion of some new posters who are there just to sell. Other times they were genuine people who have an item of interest and hope to sell it to someone who appreciates it.
It�s not a lever gun, those I�m pretty familiar with.
It is a Mannlicher Schoenauer model 1950 carbine in 6.5x54 with a Unertl 4x with a Pachmayr flip-up mount.
