I was wondering if any of you have tried these bullets before and if any of you have found any good loads for them. Thank you

Its a great p/dog boolit.......
Too bad Hornaday doesn't at least pack in in 250 ct boxes...
Or better yet in 1K pc cartons like Nosler & the 55 BTs
Loads ? I load them in my 223 AI with my std charge for 55s
The 53 V max BC is higher than Nosler 55 BTs...

They worked well for me with a number of different powders in my 223's. Seemed to be pretty easy to get to shoot. Never got a chance to try them on coyotes, I had too many 60 gr Hornady HP's waiting. T.S.

My disappointment with them, is they have not been an accurate as other 22 cal bullets.. even the Hornady ones...50 and 55 SPSXs, the 52 A max, the 52 and 53 HP Target bullets, the 50 and 55 grain SPs are still all more accurate as are the other V MAX bullets...
in both the 22.250 and 223...

Thank you Tried them but since I have to burn up 4 pounds of h335, that's the only powder I've ran behind them . Groups arn't too bad but still working with my new rifle (ruger m77 mkII target/varmint 223). Loaded 15 rounds of each charge weight in powder and this is what I came up with: 5 shot group Not perfect but work in progress....
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

in both the 22.250 and 223... addendum or update... tried some in the Ruger VT in 223 this afternoon at the range.. not chronograped yet, but with an over max load of BLC2 ( 30 grains) in Remington case with Win SR primer, they were giving results similar to BSA's results.. best I have seen so far... my Ruger is long throated, so I am also taking advantage of that...

My go-to bullet in the 223. Max load of Benchmark with a 205m and Lapua brass gets me 3330fps and consistent 0.5moa accuracy. Seems to like a tiny jump, unlike other V-Maxes which preferred to be lightly jammed. Shot a rabbit at 406 metres recently with them.

I'm running them with benchmark and cci400's in win brass. 25g gets me 3200 from a 20" 8 twist and shoots 1/2 moa. It is replacing my 50g vmax's which were my preferred varmint bullet for about the last 10 years.

Benchmark and 50 to 55s is the bomb. 223 & 22.250 I shoot 52 SMKs, goes .25 for 5 shots both calibers 3 diffrent rifles.

I just got back from shooting pdogs today with the 53gr Superformance load and we were underwhelmed with the effect on pdogs. They're accurate, flat shooting and FAST in the Superformance loading but they do almost nothing to adult pdogs. I was shooting handloaded 55gr Vmax's and they did a bit more devastation on impact.

Per Mr Barsness's recommendation, I also tried the 53 V Max with a charge of 28 grains of TAC...that was as accurate as the BLC 2 load...
however the thing that surprised me... is I spent some time shooting over the chronograph for find out the MV of some of the accurate loads... chronographing is the last thing I do in load development... if I find an accurate load, once I get there, I want to chronograph it to determine point blank range and where to set scope adjustments accordingly...
I was highly surprised of the MV that the TAC load gave me with the 53 grain V Max...which is supposed to have a high BC.. and I was looking for the 'best' load for those WAAAAY out there situations...
chronographing 5 rounds.. the MV was at 3450 fps out of a 26 inch barreled Ruger 77 VT....
that's pretty darn good for a 223 in my book....
so I have found my load for that scenario... that's for sure...
oh, and a Win Small Rifle primer was used in Remington brass...
