Just wondering how it is going in others area of the world.
I bought 1,000 W/W primers Large Rifle for $35.00 per thousand and felt blessed to find them. I had to buy them 100 at a time but got the 1,000 price because I bought ten boxes. The salesman was a nice guy at Cabelas that day. Anybody behind me was out of luck. Now I can continue to erode the barrel on my .220 Swift! grin

Haven't noticed a problem (yet). Bought 1000 WLR for $27.99 and a pound of Universal for $21.99 Saturday. Shelves weren't bare but there were no small pistol primers. I think they were just in between shipments. Haven't noticed any run on supplies here. Thank god. But I have what I need for 'a while'.

I was at the local hunting/fishing superstore a week ago - no shortages on primers, powder, or bullets. Primers are running mid-$30's per 1000.

I'm paying about $28/K here in NY for CCI and Winchester. I'm planning to pick up 2K more small pistol and that should last me 2-3 years, unless I pick up a hornet, then all bets are off. grin

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

I have around 10,000 primers and just purchased another K of CCI BR-4 last week . Cost was 34.00 i believe.

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Doing good in my house. I could use 5K Win LR primers and maybe the same amount in CCI200. Otherwise I am good for a looooong time.

Why don't you check out Powder Valley. I find that if you by enough that the Haz. fee and shipping added in is still cheaper than a shop, and it is delivered to your door.

Or if your sister lives 8 miles from their door you don't have to pay shipping or Hazmat. When I order from Missouri I don't even get hit for sales tax either.

When the guys behind the counter knows my niece and nephew by name, does that mean dad, myself, and bro in law order too much from them?

Fifty Bucks? Wow, what a rip -- order three K from somewhere to get around the hazmat. Geeze.
Most primers locally (NW MT) are in the 29 to 35 dollar range depending on make and model.
