I can't see how this can end well. I've run a wrecker and it's been driving me nuts all day as to how I would try to retrieve it, intact.

I'd say cause it's been too dry.

Or we could blame the water hogs over at devils lake ND, they been stealing everybody's water.

I have been hauling a little home in my boat every trip. I also grab as many little bugs & other critters to transplant to my other lakes. I hope that isn't a problem.

I didn't think you guys would notice or care.

No silly, bald eagle lake, north of snake river, connected to gabbro lake on the north, just west of turtle lake...

Full of big northerns and some nice walleye...

And enormous snapping turtles...

My bro and I used to run turtle lines down in Ohio. Our volunteer fire dept. did a turtle soup stag every year, and there was a restaurant in North Lima that specialized in turtle soup. We had a good little racket going selling turtles. They paid us .25 cents a pound on the shell, or .50 cents a pound if we cleaned 'em. We would catch between 20 and 30 every year. It was good money for a couple kids that loved to be outside getting dirty and having fun. 'Never got any real monsters, but we had a couple that pushed 20 lbs.
