The Handbook is still in print. If your's were signed by George Madis and had a dust jacket it would be worth more. Here is the one on the right: http://www.biblio.com/9780890094471The handbook has upper right corner binding damage and the other appears to have spine separation at bottom. Pair might bring 50-70 dollars retail. Good references.

An unsigned handbook sold for $30.00 on an auction site and there is an unsigned and not so good shape as yours 1916 book currently for sale at $17.50, of course it may go higher. By way of comparison, an original 1916 catalog sold for just over $70.00 last month.
