Anyone run this combination? I have a 1:10 barrel on my 7mm-08 and am looking for some load suggestions. I have some 160gr Accubonds I will try next weekend but I've been itching to try out the Berger VLD's and figured the 168gr would be a fun one.
Also, if anyone has load data for the 168gr VLD and the 7mm-08, and wouldn't mind posting it, I would be appreciative.

Sure, using 24" barrel 1:9 twist 7mm-08 with 168 vld hunting with 46.6grs H4350,win brass, cci200.Always work up, Hodgdon list 47.2 as max. I'm running them at 2745fps avg. They shoot great in the little 7/08.

Thanks trailrider.
I've heard good things about the VLD and figured the 7mm-08 would be perfect with the 1:10 twist for a long bullet. Not looking to break any velocity records so I'm good with a heavy bullet in a smaller case.

My friend gets over 2700 with a 162 a-max and Ramshot Hunter. Published maximum load is 48 grains for 2750 with a 160 sierra hpbt. That seemed to translate pretty well to the 162 a-max in his particular rifle.
