Killed one deer with it and 140gr fusions that shoot about 1.5" Ive shot some test loads through it that shot really good and then the next time I try them out to verify they shot like crap. So Im going to have to play with it some more this spring and summer and see if I can work out the kinks. I dont think Ill ever be without a model 7 again. Its an awesome pack around rifle. Hauled mine around with me all last saturday on the 4 wheeler and hiking while out shed huntin. Didnt wear out my shoulder like my other rifles. Proverbs 12:27 The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

DakotaDeer Campfire Ranger D Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 22,884	One good thing concerning all of the Sevens is that the metal finish has always been done more nicely than the cheap 700s. We've got a handful here in various calibers, and I don't regret any of them, from the old ones to the newer ones.
