Ive got one in 7mm-08. Killed one deer with it and 140gr fusions that shoot about 1.5" Ive shot some test loads through it that shot really good and then the next time I try them out to verify they shot like crap. So Im going to have to play with it some more this spring and summer and see if I can work out the kinks. I dont think Ill ever be without a model 7 again. Its an awesome pack around rifle. Hauled mine around with me all last saturday on the 4 wheeler and hiking while out shed huntin. Didnt wear out my shoulder like my other rifles.

I don't like the new style synthetic stock. The old style was much better even thou they were butt heavy.

Love the M7, but that new MR M700 is looking like a neat little rig.

One good thing concerning all of the Sevens is that the metal finish has always been done more nicely than the cheap 700s.

We've got a handful here in various calibers, and I don't regret any of them, from the old ones to the newer ones.

I love the m7. I have a predator in 243. I replaced the stock for a Bell and Carlson Ti syle stock. Great shooter.

I have the 'Predator' also, in 243. The stock is a little cheesy(cheap), maybe I should get a new one. I did replace the trigger with a Timney though. It shoots great.

So did I,and I Duracoated the metal...like it mucho more than the factory stock, which is identical to the new Synthetic M7..

I like the BC much better. Allthough, the tupperware did still shoot well enough!

Those two Predators with the B&C and Duracoat could really grow on a guy. That's the way Rem should have done it.

No worry on the homo part...they dont make Predators, or Model Sevens for that matter, in .270! laugh
