The New Actor is not up to the part of playing Spartacus as Andy Whitfield. The 3rd season had potential but having to replace the deceased lead really broke their stride IMHO

This whole new gladiator kick comes on the heels of the commercial and critical success of HBO's
Rome . HBO's Rome was compelling drama. Especially after the first season, Spartacus is just voyeuristic schlock.
