Sounds as if the older ammo maybe have begun to deteriorate and, as a result, it is producing considerably higher-than-normal chamber pressure thus creating the ejection problem you mentioned.
As Rory (Calhoun) advised, I'd pull the bullets, dump the powder and re-use the bullets and primed cartridge case again after removing the primer punch out of your resizing die and lubricating and full-length resizing the still-primed cartridge case.
The reason I recommend "full-length resizing" is because it could be that the rounds are reloads and someone didn't full-length resize the cartridge to start with.
Regardless, if YOU full-length resize the cases with the primer punch removed (to keep from punching out the live, good primer that's still in the case), then you don't have to worry about whether or not the cartridge case will fit into your rifle's chamber and not cause a "sticking" problem.
