I just felt I needed to give Carlos his "well earned" due. He did the "facelift" on my stock. I did the finish and put the old recoil pad on. Nice remodel, and a nice refinish. Bonus points on the barrel band. The comparison of the second and last pics is pretty remarkable.

As far as "Karnis" what is a karnis??? Just kidding  , Carlos is one heck of a good guy. Great with wood, uh.....ok he does great stock work and he is definitely in tune to what each individual rifle needs. Great guy that Karnis...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

are you going to checker it? At some point I'll have it done. I kind of like the looks of no checkering BUT it does serve a purpose. Things can get slick when wet.
