That is some nice country, for sure!

Congrats on a nice elk.

This was up in northern British Columbia in the Gatho river area. Beautiful country and the amount/variety of game available is staggering. If you're looking for elk, moose, mtn. goat, Stone sheep, mule deer, blackbear, grizzly bear, caribou or wolf then this is the place to go.

No orange required, eh? I feel a little stupid every time wearing it, to tell you the truth... Even more so watching camo-clad people with orange over camo. Oh well, too many "shoot anything that moves" types in the US I guess... What an awesome hunt, I envy you! -P

PaulDaisy, next door in Alberta today, a bowhunter in full camo was setting up a decoy in a bow/gun zone and was shot by another hunter packing a rifle. Not too bright on either hunters part if you ask me. The "shoot anything moving" types are everywhere my friend...sad but true.
