708 - I only hunted 1 day this year (two mornings). Started my third new job in Oct, I finally landed the position I wanted - funny how things work out! I did pass on these dinks:
SD & MT- These are protected bucks unless weather pushes em out (hint). They are not considered Colombian blacktails, biologists term them California Mule Deer. The tails would have a wider black band to be considered Colombian blacktails. Some say these deer are a mixture of blacktail and Rocky mtn mule deer since they exhibit features of both. Some do show more blacktail in em, whatever they are I sure enjoy em wether squeezing the trigger or photographing em.
