IIRC, Back in the late 90's there was a year or so when 8x57 brass was hard to come by. Hope this time it's only another temporary thing. So back in the 90's I got a Redding 8x57 Mauser Form & Trim die, (#83159) and made my own out of 30-06 brass, like the previous poster suggested. It's a lot more convenient,(and less work) to buy 8x57 brass if it's available but if it ain't then you still have options.

I think it is seasonal, like the 300 Savage. I know it is expensive. Now I make it out of .30-'06, but I admit that is a PITA.
