I've gathered up enough supplies to load a few rounds. A few years ago I inherited 2 Savage 99's. I have IMR 4895 powder, Hornady 165GR interlocks and 110GR Spire Points. Are these good combinations? Anyone have recommendations for powder loads in 308 or 300Sav? Thanks in advance. Marty

I haven't shot 110's, but 4895 and a 165 is a good combination for either cartridge.

39 grs in the 300 with the 165s is our standard load here.

I tend to use more than enough gun

For both of those I've stuck with 150 grain bullets for no particulary good reason. I use IMR4895 in the 300, and W748 in the 308. The 308 load is not necessicarily a good one generally, but it works well in my rifles.
