Sad, sad news. He used to invite all kinds of musicians up to his place at woodstock, sell a couple hundred tickets and jam all night long ( you were encouraged to bring a covered dish to put out on the buffet for supper). I only made it to three of them, but It was the some of the best three nights of my life. These events were called "the midnight ramble". It still can't comprehend I'll never see another one.

I guess I would have been a fourth generation coal miner if I had gone that route. My Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Father were all coal miners at different times and places.
