I just saw this on McMillan's facebook page, and thought it should be shared here as well. McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing, McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years. Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Marlet Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an account analysis meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them.... He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories. At this point I interrupted him and asked Can I possibly save you some time so that you dont waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer want my business. That is correct he says. I replied That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You wont mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that BofA is not firearms industry friendly? You have to do what you must he said. So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that right? Mr Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing let for him to say. I think it is import for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd amendment right to keep and bare arms should know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I dont agree with a business political position I can not in good conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products. Kelly D. I stopped using B of A 25 years ago, I refuse to open an account even to cash large cashiers checks my customers have drawn on them. They continually tell me they can cash checks if I have my own account. I tell them you just let me know how many days it will take you to come up with that much cash and I will come and cash the check. That bank pisses me off.
The major difference between belief and fact is those who believe something have come to a conclusion no facts will contradict. Well informed people are open to new facts that oppose their beliefs. That also defines an open and closed mind.

My cousin is in the top of the top with BOA...I have forwarded this to him for feedback. Hope it's not true Why would you think it's not true? Their stance has been common knowledge for years, and I doubt that McMillan would go public with a statement like that if it weren't true.

BofA's stance on the gun industry certainly sucks. I'm not sure why they see a difference between a supllier of parts for guns vs. a gun manufacturer.
I've had a BofA credit card for many years and never had any problems with them. My interest rate has been fixed at 5.9% for more than 10 years, which seems to be better than industry average. I try not to carry a balance, but when I do I appreciate a low interest. Maybe it's time to compare what other banks are offering.

I dropped that crappy bank 39 years ago because of their poor business practices and haven't set foot into one since. One of those rare occasions where I showed some good judgement.

Wonder if BOA card will pay for hookers in South America?
I'd really like to see them go broke but then I guess our communist in chief would bail them out.

This illustrates the level of respect that BoA has for it's customers - not just customers in the firearms industry, but even little old ladies. BoA would rather honest people get killed/maimed by criminals than have the means to defend themselves.

But they are doing it for your greater socialist good. You should be happy to make some sacrifices for the collective.

That's very interesting and BofA can eat a turd. No wonder Obama protects them.

This story is really starting to get some legs! I wouldn't be surprised if it goes national via Rush Limbaugh.

Anyone know of a Pro 2A card company to replace them with. I rarely use it, but like to have one for emergencies.

Good for McMillan. I'm going to order a Edge soon.
BOA sucks balls anyway, between the billions of dollars in loans they've needed (of your tax money) to stay afloat due to their reckless lending and their crappy customer service. Too big to fail? We'd be better off if they were gone.

also reinforces my dropping them a long time ago...bunch of douche bags that can't be bothered... bunch of leftist elitist...
I was a very happy customer of Washington Mutual, until they went under... and were taken over by Chase...
I am not more impressed with Chase, believe me..
$15 a month or $180 a year just to bank with them...give me a break...
I wish the NRA or someone like that would keep an entire data base of businesses not to do business with, due to having an anti Second Amendment stance..
