Any of you tried the barley flour from Alaska Flour Company in Delta Junction? www.alaskaflourcompany.com Makes great pancakes! Always like to buy local when we can. Anchorage folks can get it at Natural Pantry, and in Fairbanks at Hometown Market. I have no connection with these folks.....just like the product! Jeff

tks for the heads up, I'm ashamed to admit I've yet to darken the doors of Hometown Market.
love the idea and concept
but seems I'm always on the go and Pavlov's dog just stops at Safeway or Freddies when needing grub.
went to stock up on Krusteaz Apple n Spice pancake mix at Freddy's yesterday....they don't even have a space on the shelves for it now. Sad boy I am, it'd become a tradition for us at the cabin. Even the neighbors looked forward to our cakes when we're there at the same time.
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
