Will be heading out to Wyoming for PDs and want to have a spare magazine for my Cooper model 57 17HMR.

Good luck on the magazine, I had to call Cooper and pay $100.00 for one, which I did, and now that I did, the sting has lost it's pain and I am the proud owner of 2 of those magazines...

Shrapnel,
Yeah, buying from Cooper was my Plan A until I saw the price they charged
Posting a WTB at the Fire is my Plan B.
Plan C is going to RimFireCentral as suggested by boatammo.
And Plan D is buying from Cooper and hoping my memory of the money I spent gets lost forever.
Thanks to you and boatammo for your help.
Steve

Steve,
If you do find more, and they are significantly less money, I would be interested in another one...
Thanks, Shrapnel

You might try an Anschutz magazine. My .22RF Cooper magazine looks just like an Anschutz with a differet bottom attached. The Anschutz magazines I have for a 1416 work just fine.
The Anschutz might be the cheaper route???

Cooper does use Anschutz magazines, the only difference is the floorplate.

Thanks guys, but do you know where I can find Anschutz magazines?
I checked in my Brownell's catalog and came up with bupkus.

No matter what it takes, the Fire does seem to come through.
Thanks, guys.
Also got a PM from Pugs with some of the same info.
Sent an email to championshooters asking them if their Anschutz mags would work in my Cooper. I'll post the info when they reply.
I suspect shrapnel could use a third mag, if not more.
Many thanks to DBrink, drover and Pugs for their help.

I use the Anschutz in mine. They are only about $35.00.

I contacted Cooper and was told that they get their magazines from Anschutz and they fit in in Cooper rifles.
Now I'm looking for a good price on Anschutz mags.
