I saw this mini cannon on youtube and thought it was pretty badass. Do they really work as well as the video? It says from their site to use cap gun caps!?

I doubt they use "cap gun caps" or even black-powder ... not enough smoke.

In my younger days my brother made a bit larger one in metal shop. It was around 12" long and bored to .50 cal. We made our own powder with sulfur, salt peter (potassium nitrate) and charcoal. Our target was a one gallon paint can and the results were awesome! wink
