In my younger days my brother made a bit larger one in metal shop. It was around 12" long and bored to .50 cal. We made our own powder with sulfur, salt peter (potassium nitrate) and charcoal. Our target was a one gallon paint can and the results were awesome! Dave Sticks and stones may break my bones ... but hollow-points expand on impact.
