Well I better get in gear for turkey season. Shotgun still not sighted in yet, and my season is the 3rd through 7th.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Thanks guys. I didn't do anything too exciting. "Makes no Patties" came to visit and a neighbor couple stopped over for a little while. But that was about it. Funny how the older you get, you're birthday just becomes more and more like just another day... Well unless you're Mrs ND that is! That girl loves her some birthday!

It floats gooder than heck.
nice and quiet, both motors run and perform great, controls on main motor a little sticky but I'll fix that.
Lake was calm enough to open it up. Had the whole family (5 of us), a weeny dog and 3/4 tank of gas. 47 and change on the gps topped out and trimmed as good as it got. 5300 RPM
That exceeded my expectations.
It'll be a 50mph boat on a good day with a couple guys and gear in it.

5300 seems a bit shy of what it should do. Could be all the weight in the boat though. You should be able to see 55-5700 out of her.
Glad it worked well. Pretty tough to beat those Yammmi's.

I didn't get a good look in that pic. Is that a stainless or aluminum prop?
I agree, with a non-family load you'll hit 5500. 47 ain't nuttin' to shake a stick at though. That's good IMO. I'll be happy as a puppy with two peters if I can hit 40 on the gps.
