I have an 1894CSS that will not feed even the first round. It will bend the bullet case under any pressure. Seems like something broke. Advice and a great lever action smith will help. Thanks......Greg

Year and half later, it's on its way home from Coyote Cap. I had a good conversation with him and I look forward to taking it out. Update more after the move.

Sorry you've had issues. My 1894SS in 44 mag feeds really slick, and shoots great, until the barrel gets warm, and then impacts are guesswork. I'd have a 336 in 44 if I got another one- the rear lock-up makes for poor headspacing in my gun, and the mechanism seems kind of hokey. But it is going with me into the timber again this year for elk, and deer.
I belong on eroding granite, among the pines.

usually when the 1894 Marlin in 44 mag jams, it is the loading gate screw that is loose
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.
