Ok here goes, trying some 69 gr HPBT Sierra's in front of 23 gr WC 844.

Hope they fly straight out of my 1/9 colt...

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

Won't be the barrel twist fault if they don't. Of course it could be stamped 9 and actually be different. Thats another issue.

Have a good friend that errs on the understabilization side of the issue with 20 inch barrels and purposely has 9 twist tubes on to shoot 80 grain bullets. And consistently works fine.

Let us know how it works out. BTW the load sounds like it should be in the ball park. But remember thats a match bullet which is great. The colt 9 twist barrel may not be close to a match grade tube if you know what I mean.

Old standby to test barrels was CCI BR-4, LC case, 24.5-25.0 Varget( I used 24.7 a lot) and the 69 at 2.250. If that didn't shoot respectably well, I'd assume there are other serious troubles.

ok, just finished shooting 10 shots into an inch at a paced off70 yards.....

no keyholes and good group I think for iron sights.

Plus it's seems to be pretty good for my "throw together" load.

Used some WC 844 and decent brass. I'm pleased now for the tweaking.
