Speaking of being born somewhere reminds me of a story a guy told me long ago. Said the population in his town of about two thousand people never changed as every time a new baby was born, some guy left town. Strange...

The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

I was born in Saint Joseph Hosp in Flint, Mi... Early in 1951. My folks never did live in Flint, tho' Spent the 1st thirteen years on a dirt poor MI farm, the next 5 in E. Tenn. Then back to MI. If the economy would ever pick up where I could sell this house, I'd be goin' back to Tenn... smile

I was born in early December, 1961 in Youngstown, Ohio. As soon as Dad saw Mom and I were okay, he was out the door headed for deer camp. A guy's got to have priorities.......

Born 24 March 1955 at Tuscaloosa, Alabama (closest hospital location at that time). Grew up in Eutaw, Greene County, Alabama, but consider neighboring Sumter County as home (was location of my father's family). Attended high school and jr. college at Marion, Perry County, Alabama. Attended college at Livingston, Sumter County, Alabama. Lived about 3 years in and around Tuscaloosa, then moved to Galveston County, Texas in 1979. Still here, but not where I want to die.
