Except for filming the action, in western Europe lot of hunting is made like that, on the run, game pushed by dogs. Shots are generally short but can sometimes go to 150m in some areas depending on the terrain.
Depending on the type of dogs and beaters game can be pushed slow (drucken in Germany)with small dogs, even pointer and setter dogs, la�kas and elg hund in scandinavia and baltic states or launched fast in the south (France, Italie, Portugal, Espagne)with great running dogs (St Hubert, Porcelaine, Bruno du Jura, Grand Bleu de Gascogne, Dogue Argentin, Grand Podengo...). Today in my piece of wood we combine team of great running dogs with team of jack terrier and jack russell. A very effective way to find and push boars and red deers.
