Hi Folks,
Been looking for a while for more pulled or otherwise inexpensive jacketed bullets to feed the European .30 cals.
No joy. Used to be they were all around. I've posted WTB ads all over the internet.
I'd hate to have to go buy Hornady soft point just to plink!
The 91/30 does have a tight bore, about 0.309", and I get pretty OK precision from 0.308" bullets... but still, that lil' 1/1000" can let gas around to erode the bore. So, I don't want to do that.
Any help? I can't believe nobody's pulling bullets from the .303/7.7/7.62x54R any longer.
