4"x7/8" mercury tube.
Removed recoil pad and began to drill a small pilot hole.
About 3" in,ran into something hard. I did notice a small "decal" on underside of stock in front of sling stud, but I didn't remove it or have a clue what it represented.
I'm guessing there might be some type of reenforcing pin running from bottom to near top.
Any input would be appreciated as I Really need to install this recoil suppressor and a new recoil pad. Thanks!
