I'm in a situation where I am kind of torn. I asked my wife for her thoughts, but figured I would ask some folks whose opinions I could relate more with on the matter lol.
There is kind of a long story/reasoning behind the question, but I'll just try and keep the question short. If you had a pair of Leica geovids hd and a pair of swarovski el (non-swarovision), both were 10x42's and had to sell one of them to pay some bills, which one would you sell and which one would you keep? Would your decision be influenced by the fact that one could sell for a little more than the other? I guess it comes down to which pair would you rather own/keep. Next question is what would be the going rate of each?
Thanks for any input.

I'd sell the one that got me the most money. One may be better than the other but it's most likely splitting hairs.

Keep the pair you like most. I would be keeping the El's.

No doubt I'd keep the Geovids. I sold a pair of Swaro 8x56 and kept the Leica Geovid BRF 10x42, no regrets whatsoever.

I'd keep the Leica no question. Much tougher built and waterproof in the long haul. However, you aren't me. Pick the one that seems to work out best for you. Ergonomics and other subtle characteristics are often the deciding factor. E

You probably lose less money by selling EL.
